Travel Club Hockey

The Santa Barbara Ice Hawks play coed youth hockey in the Southern California Amateur Hockey Association (SCAHA).

Ages

The Ice Hawks Club consists of teams from 8U up to 18U and all age groups in between with skill levels AA/A/BB/B.

When

The season generally begins 2 weeks before Labor Day weekend and runs through playoffs in March with a break over the holidays. Tryouts are in the middle of June.

Where

All practices and home games are at Ice In Paradise located at 6985 Santa Felicia Dr. Goleta, CA 93117 with away games across Southern California.

Practices

Teams practice 2-3 times per week for at least 60 minutes per practice.

Games

Each team plays 20-30 games per season with travel tournaments generally over Labor Day, MLK and/or Presidents' Day weekends. SCAHA league games are generally scheduled on Sundays with occasional Saturday games.

June 13, 2026 ($35)

8U (2018+): 3:45-4:45pm (Studio Ice)

10U (2016-17): 4:45-5:45pm

12U (2014-15): 6:00-7:00pm

14U (2012-13): 7:15-8:15pm
